Wells Branch named one of the three hottest neighborhoods in Austin!
The first installment of ‘my favorite neighborhoods’ was Wells Branch and apparently, it’s a lot of other people’s favorite neighborhood as well. If you’re looking to live in Wells Branch, you’d better be willing to act fast. From January 2019 to today houses have spent an average of thirteen days on the market. This average takes the typically slower months into account as well the median number of days on the market in this period is only five!
So, why does everyone want to live in Wells Branch?
The proximity to the Domain as well as Austin’s booming tech corridor plays a factor in Wells Branch’s appeal, but other North Austin neighborhoods can claim the same thing. Both the average sales price for homes and the tax rates are lower than the surrounding Austin-area. These are factors that are attractive to investors as well as first-time buyers.
